Terms of Service

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HiStats (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

HiStats is a free CS2 statistics and comparison service built on top of the FACEIT platform. It lets you view FACEIT match statistics, create groups, compare players, view records, and take part in the community Clan Tag Battle. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Some features can be used without an account. To use account-based features you sign in through FACEIT OAuth. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of FACEIT's or Steam's terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access, overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• use bots, scripts, or automation to abuse features (including the Clan Tag Battle) or to inflate statistics;
• scrape or redistribute data from the Service at scale without permission;
• submit content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.

5. User Content

You are responsible for the content you submit (group names, nicknames, clan tags, messages). By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and use it to operate the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Clan Tag Battle

The Clan Tag Battle lets the community propose clan tags and vote by clicking. Each day at 00:00 (Europe/Moscow) the tag with the most clicks is applied to our Steam group. Clicks and results are provided "as is"; we do not guarantee that a tag will be applied, that Steam will accept it, or that it will be visible in-game. Tags must be valid and not offensive; we may skip or remove tags at our discretion. The battle may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time. The Service is not affiliated with Valve or Steam.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with FACEIT and Steam. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not affiliated with Valve, Steam, or FACEIT.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and trademarks, belongs to HiStats and its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute it without permission. Match data belongs to its respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy of statistics.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiStats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service and update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.
